Streaming games has become increasingly popular on sites like Twitch and YouTube. To help these streamers find an audience, and to help the audience find the streamers, we have now added Twitch & YouTube integration to PlayStrategy! Read on to find out what this feature has to offer, and how you can apply to be listed as a PlayStrategy streamer too.

By becoming a PlayStrategy streamer, you get your own streamer profile page, where you can explain who you are and what your streams are about. All streamer profiles are listed on our new streamers list, live streamers on top, and the rest sorted by the time they were last seen on PlayStrategy.

Becoming a PlayStrategy Streamer

You can create a profile at playstrategy.org/streamer/edit. Once completed your profile will be reviewed by the moderators. When you apply, make sure there is enough content on your channel already, so that we can get an idea what your streams are about. When your profile is approved, it will be added to the streamers list!

From this moment on your stream will be shown as live whenever you start a stream with playstrategy.org in the title (and also category Board Games for Twitch). This way you can stream other content too without it showing up on PlayStrategy, just don't include playstrategy.org in your stream title. If it meets the requirements for frontpage featuring, your stream will also appear on the PlayStrategy frontpage.

Do you want to stream on PlayStrategy, but don't know where to start? Create an account on Twitch. Then you need a broadcasting software. We suggest OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). This tutorial shows you everything you need to know to get your first stream up on Twitch!
