PlayStrategy is excited to announce it will be hosting many tournaments as part of the Mind Sport Olympiad's Grand Prix event which is running from Friday 27th January - Sunday 12th March. The MSO's online offering is back and we at PlayStrategy are delighted to be hosting all of the Grand Prix's Chess and Draughts tournaments as well as several Abstract tournaments.

The MSO is a prestigious organisation that has hosted international board game tournaments since 1997. In 2020, the MSO was forced online for the first time due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Last year, the MSO returned to its usual in person format in London for the Summer, but also introduced its new Grand Prix series in the Spring. The Grand Prix is fully online and is free to enter! For 2023 the Grand Prix is back, but brought forward a few months into the Winter.

The format of the Grand Prix has changed, for more details please see the MSO's website, but there are still MSO medals to be won in all the events that are hosted on PlayStrategy. You can see the full schedule here:

Eagle-eyed viewers may be able to spot hints to a couple of games that aren't available on PlayStrategy yet but will be added to the platform in the coming weeks! There are also three days on the schedule where all the events will be back-to-back on PlayStrategy.

All of the MSO's PlayStrategy events will be hosted in the Mind Sports Olympiad team, so be sure to join the team and join the events you want to play in, which will be added in the coming days.
