Create puzzles from Interactive lessons in Studies
Use interactive lessons in studies to help the community to learn
We are excited to share with you that interactive lessons are now supported for most of our games on PlayStrategy.
Setup
To setup an interactive lesson, create a new study and set the analysis mode to "interactive lesson". Within this mode you can now create puzzles and learning studies for the community.
Each chapter can have a set of moves to guess correctly from a starting position. In this mode you are always guessing the first player (i.e. white in chess) and can write a number of comments and notes to help your users follow along.
For a great video example from Lichess see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYS7x-RbcH8.
Examples
See our example set of puzzles at https://playstrategy.org/study/N7nirXtD
This mode is not yet supported for multi action games (amazons, monster chess, backgammon variants) but we hope to support them in the future.
We will be supporting actual puzzles in the future, similar to Lichess, watch the space in 2025!
If you create your own set of puzzle studies and want to share them, please send a link to one of the moderators @jheps, @statmatt, @vincent and we can review and add a link to the bottom of this post!
