Registration for the 2026 Mind Sports Olympiad is now open! The 30th edition of the in-person MSO will take place in London between Saturday 22nd August and Sunday 30th August. A new venue, more tournaments and bigger prizes are all in store as part of the anniversary event! The schedule features over 75 tournaments across many disciplines, including many of the games you can find right here on PlayStrategy - Chess, Backgammon, Draughts, Abalone, Lines of Action, Amazons, Breakthrough and more!

In other news, July is the month where PlayStrategy celebrates it's birthday. We are 5 this year! As has become tradition, there is a 24 hour mega medley birthday tournament! So on Tuesday 21st July, all of the 47 games/variants that you can find on PlayStrategy will feature at some stage. The winner of the last three birthday tournaments has been @oruro, but could it be you this year?
