Thanks for this variant. It is quite fun to play, and it's a game that takes a bit of thinking :)

Is abalone not displaying correctly for anyone else? when I start a game the pieces are off of the board. I tried both Chrome and Firefox.

Hello Ganelon, thank you for sharing your problem !

After testing a bit more the different options available in the preferences, I think in "preferences" -> "Game behavior" you might currently have set the "castling method" set to "Move king two squares".

If you switch to "Move king onto rook", it will be displayed fine.

This is totally unexpected, we will try to figure out the reason, and fix as soon as possible, but at least you get a way to make it work properly for you meanwhile :)

Very exciting! curious to know what other hexagonal games may be on the horizon. Hope PlayStrategy blows up with new players
