I really appreciate that PlayStrategy has tournaments running very frequently, sometimes with a tournament available almost every hour. This gives players many opportunities to participate and makes the platform more active.
However, I think having a tournament every hour does not necessarily mean that players in every region have convenient times to participate.
For players in Vietnam (UTC+7), for example, there can be days when tournaments are concentrated in the evening and late at night, such as:
19:00 → 21:00 → 23:00 → 01:00
If a player wants to participate in several tournaments during the day, they may have to continue playing late into the night. This becomes even more noticeable when considering both Medley tournaments and regular tournaments for individual games.
I understand that PlayStrategy has players from all over the world, so there cannot be a schedule that is perfect for every time zone. Therefore, I am not suggesting reducing the number of tournaments or replacing the current schedule completely.
Instead, I would like to suggest considering a more balanced distribution of tournament times across different time zones.
For example, if a certain type of tournament is usually held at a fixed time, its starting time could occasionally be rotated. This would give players in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and other regions some tournaments that are more convenient for them.
In my opinion, the goal should not only be:
“There is a tournament every hour.”
but also:
“Every region has convenient time slots in which they can participate in tournaments.”
I think this could allow PlayStrategy to maintain its high number of tournaments while also making the tournament schedule more accessible to players in different parts of the world.
I would be interested to hear whether other players in Asia, as well as players from other regions, experience the same issue.
