Why I'm not allowed to play rated games with bots in chess variants except Chess and chess960?

Which BOT?

Hi @Hold_The_Trophy could you please share with us what your settings are for creating a game:
- Variant
- Time Control
- Side
- Bot

It should be possible to play a rated game against all of our bots in all variants, providing the time controls and side are set appropriately.

Some variants don't allow you pick a Side for a rated game. This is where there is supposedly an advantage or strong difference for one side. So variants like 3-check, Horde, Monster etc have to have 'Random Side' selected in order to start a Rated game.

Which BOT plays GO?
And not all BOTs play shogi.

PS-Greedy-One-Move and PS-Greedy-Two-Move can play all the games (including Go and Shogi). However we need to make a change to allow the bots to play Byoyomi time controls.
When setting up a new game in the game form please select custom time control and fischer clock to play against those bots.

If I'm not mistaken, BOT Stockfish initially played only chess. The programmers taught it to play other games. So the question arises: will BOT Stockfish play absolutely all games?

Hi @marahonov_dima I'm not sure that Stockfish has been taught to play draughts, although other high level engines for draughts exist (e.g. SCAN which lidraughts uses).
It is one of the aims of PlayStrategy to provide high level engines for all of the games that you find on the site, both for play and analysis. However this goal will take some time to realise.
