Hi, I’d like to report an issue with the current matchmaking experience.
For regular games, it seems that I can almost only find bots to play against. However, when I play rated games, I often find opponents, but if I win too easily, I receive a warning about possible bot/Elo abuse.
I’m not intentionally abusing the rating system. I simply want to play normal rated games against real players. If the game ends up being an easy win because of the difference in playing strength, I don’t think that should automatically be considered Elo abuse.
Could you please clarify how these situations are handled and whether there is a way to play rated games against real players without being flagged simply because I win too easily?
Thank you.
Feedback about matchmaking, bots and Elo abuse warnings
Hi @Chauphuocloc the messages you have been receiving recently is for beating weak bots in rated games very easily/quickly, predominantly in Mini Xiangqi.
To not receive these warnings, the suggestion is that you either play a casual game (instead of rated) or try a stronger bot.
Thanks for advice playstrategy.org!
