Testing on dev site

We are upgrading some of the core infrastructure behind PlayStrategy, namely the version of scala that runs the server. This isn't a simple upgrade, and a lot of code has had to be tweaked to make it compatible. We've got this new version of PlayStrategy running over on our test site at: playstrategy.dev which we've opened to the public.

Our initial testing has been positive, and we are planning to deploy the upgrade sometime next week. If anybody would like to help us with testing please feel free to go onto playstrategy.dev and try out many of the functions and features. If you notice any issues please report them in the forum on the site: playstrategy.dev/forum/playstrategy-feedback/scala3-testing-feedback

That's good, there shouldn't be anything noticeable that has changed. It is just behind-the-scenes things that have changed, which could cause current functionality to break.

Why my accounts are not appearing in playstartegy. Dev ? Is the actual website and Dev is different?

Also they look very similar but there are some differences. And should I create a new account in playstartegy.dev? ?

I tried the Dev but as a practice game I played against @stockfish-level2 and it's always shows its offline and I want to reload the page for each and every move. I noticed only this on dev

Hi @Unknown_Chess_Player thanks for taking a look at the dev site. They are independent websites so you would need to create an account on the dev site - they are not linked.

There was a problem with the bots which has now been resolved - you should now be able to play Stockfish on playstrategy.dev
