  51. nmcl its all good, quite a few tournaments up northern england for you
  52. nmcl all online playing, a few books etc
  53. nmcl stuck at 1kyu for many years, so mostly for fun now

  55. chris_b1 Yes - I've been stuck at 2k for years.... can't seem to find a way to advance!

  57. chris_b1 I suspect the next step is to see the game differently.... for me the corners are separate, but whole board thinking says they're not! ;-)

  61. chris_b1 Yes - I play a friend regularly and I've been trying 5-3 in two corners as white.... make influence and fight instead of grabbing territory

  67. chris_b1 Yes - I read somewhere that if you're stuck at 2k it's because you've been playing 2k moves for so long you don't know what else to try
  68. chris_b1 I found when Lancaster were playing online Ai (speaking here) would go over the games and it was really useful!
  69. chris_b1 During lockdown Manchester had a Fox 9d who would go over everyone's games... that was priceless!

  76. chris_b1 I've tried playing AI Sensei too... that's interesting in that it shows you all sorts of alternatives to what you did
