Five in a Row games on PlayStrategy
Three new five in a row games Gomoku, Pente and Renju
We're delighted to introduce you to, not one, but three new games that have been added to PlayStrategy! The three games are Gomoku, Pente and Renju and they all belong in the five in a row category.
All of the five in a row variants are all played on large boards (15x15 or 19x19) and require you to get 5 stones in a row, column or diagonal to win. Please read our rules page to understand the differences between Gomoku, Pente and Renju.
As with any new game on PlayStrategy, you can play our bots including @PS-Greedy-Two-Move. We have an Introductory Tournament for each new variant with your chance to win a one-off trophy for the variant!
Gomoku Introductory - 10:00 UTC Saturday 7th Nov
Pente Introductory - 10:00 UTC Sunday 8th Nov
Renju Introductory - 14:00 UTC Sunday 8th Nov
The new games will join the rest of the PlayStrategy tournament schedule, and we will even have a medley shield with all three variants this Sunday 8th Nov at 1600 UTC.
