Hello everyone,

with great pleasure I can inform you that my first bot officially launched today: @ANTON.

The bot can only play spanish, but he should be pretty good at that. Feel free to challenge him with almost any time limit! Correspondence is not supported and probably never will, but you can play anything from 1/2+0 to 180+180 (he would even be able to play 1/4+0, but this time setting is not allowed for bots; try 0+1 instead)!

For now, only rated challenges will be accepted, as I want to test his strength. Have fun!

@KingKevin23 The bot is offline again. Its possible that whenever we restart our server (which we did this morning, and will do from time to time and have to do whenever we release any updated code) that the bot can't handle this. It should be possible to code the bot to auto-restart so as its available whenever the site is up - it would be great to have this bot available as much as possible :)

Yeah, I recognized it as well, but I didn't really know why it crashed sometimes and so I restarted manually from time to time. But thanks for this information @statmatt, I will look into it!

With the Amazons Introductory tournament now in the books, I am proud to announce that @ANTON is able to play Amazons as well! While I don't think he is very strong, I would be more than happy if you would give it a try and play against him! Same time restrictions as with Spanish apply.

Earlier this week I also made him restart after five minutes if he loses his connection and he has been constantly online ever since.

On a side note: The new clock type Byoyomi is not officially supported, but should work regardless.
