This bug has been identified and is now resolved. The issue affected games in any draughts variant which has the maximum capture chain rule (International, Brazilian, Frisian) where there were more than one multiple capture chains available for choice. This bug has been present since the introduction of bots two months ago (as we made changes to Draughts code to enable integration with bots).

Apologies to any player that this affected as this must have been frustrating and disappointing.

There will be some more exciting news regarding Draughts on PlayStrategy in the next week or two, so keep an eye out for that...

May I ask if the news regarding draughts is related to English draughts? I ask because I have seen quite a few posts on lidraughts requesting to play English draughts, so I think if that variant were available it might attract some new players.
