I've just tried to create an Othello study, but PlayStrategy gave me a chess study instead.
I've also noticed that PlayStrategy numbers Othello moves by turn, instead of by moves, making it a little difficult to use the boards to follow along with Othello literature, like _Othello: Brief & Basic_ http://www.tlandau.com/files/Othello-B%26B.pdf _ Othello: A Minute to Learn ... A Lifetime to Master_ web.archive.org/web/20061123043648/http://othellogateway.strategicviewpoints.com/rose/book.pdf or The British Othello Federation's Newsletters http://web.archive.org/web/20180622084157/http://www.britishothello.org.uk/newsletters.html
Creating a Study for Othello Isn't Possible
Thanks for the feedback. Studies are not yet supported for non chess games, we hope to support this feature soon for all our games except draughts (requires more code changes).
The turn/move numbering is consistent across our current games on PlayStrategy, and will unlikely change in the short term. As we add more games to the site, we will look to improve the customisation of each game so that it fits in with whatever standard is used, e.g. turn/move numbers for Othello.

It looks like you've already gotten Lines of Action working: playstrategy.org/study/topic/Lines%20of%20Action/hot Thanks.
