This is honestly one of the coolest chess variants i've encountered.
But let's see how White checkmate in two moves
Again, White cannot move one of his pieces since Black's king is in check.
After White uses Gravitatur, check is declared, which means Black must immediately avoid attacking his king.
Black has only one move - Kg7:

White places Gravitatur on c8 and the position does not change, after which he makes the move h6 delivering checkmate:
