We're pleased to share with you that we have been able to integrate Fairy Stockfish in-browser analysis into PlayStrategy.
Previously this feature was only available for Chess, but now a number of the Fairy Stockfish variants have been integrated:
- Shogi
- Mini Shogi
- Xiangqi
- Mini Xiangqi
- Othello
- Grand Othello
- Breakthrough
This means when you are on the analysis page or in a study for a game in any of these variants you should see the option to 'Toggle local evaluation'.
In addition to this change, we have also released an update to the display of pieces on Go boards. These are now bigger than they previously were to more accurately depict a Go game.
