Since the start of the year we've added a fair number of new games and variants to PlayStrategy, but we haven't run any tournaments for them... Well that is changing as over the next couple of weekends we are hosting an 'Introductory Tournament' for each of the new variants!

There will only ever be one Introductory Tournament per variant, so don't miss out! To make the tournaments more prestigious there will be a special trophy awarded to the winner of each of these, who will get the Introductory Trophy on their profile forever!

Each of these tournaments will be 90 minute Arenas and can be found easily from the home page.

We have also created official PlayStrategy Teams for each collection of games, and the Introductory Tournaments belong to their appropriate Team. These Teams are dedicated spaces to find fellow players, tournaments and chat about your favourite game.

A summary of the Introductory Tournament schedule is as follows:
Saturday 19th March: Shogi, Mini Shogi, No Castling Chess
Sunday 20th March: Xiangqi, Mini Xiangqi, Five-check Chess
Sunday 27th Match: Scrambled Eggs, Flipello
