I think that if an account has been banned in Lichess it should be banned here, as well the IP. They called the websites something like Lichess fork.

This website has a lot of potencial but since I realized that some of the active players here has been banned in Lichess I just cannot concentrate anymore and dont enjoyed playing anymore.

I do not have the intention to point anyone and if do, I am sorry for that.

But in order to grow PlayStrategy, they should be more more careful with this. It is my opinion.

This is not the problem, as lichess can ban for various of reasons, not just cheating, and sometimes those reasons are stemming from corruption and are false, invalid, pure nonsense and targeted abuse at a player by a rival or a jealous community. But if they have been banned for CHEATING, then it is most of the time accurate, and then they should be closely inspected and not allowed to play in tournaments until they have shown fair play in say 50-200 games prior.
Nevertheless, afaik this is a separate site from lichess and just uses lichess software, they do not answer to lichess or any other chess site, so if there is suspected cheating going on, it (this site) should address it as a new separate issue; which brings me to one of the most serious problems on this site:
Thus far they have done nothing about obvious cheaters, I have reported several, and anyone who knows anything about the chess variants and chess will know they are cheating. I think there is an issue on this site with lack of expertise, they should do screening process to form a panel of experts in each variant, to at least point out at obvious cheaters.

I also did not name any names here or accuse someone publicly of cheating, so if this site somehow interprets my comment here as such or that it breaks forum etiquette then I don't know, feel free to delete it I suppose (I have seen comments calling other players' opinions "ridiculous" be left on here and not sanctioned as breaking forum's etiquette. So if my comment which is far less offensive than that gets deleted then idk what to say).

Thank you for your message. We have reviewed yesterday's 3-check shield (playstrategy.org/tournament/2ChVYlug) which seemed to spark this post, and taken what we believe to be appropriate action.

Whilst PlayStrategy is a fork of Lichess, we have no access to their moderation information or decisions. Therefore it is not possible to ban users on PlayStrategy based on what Lichess has done, and it is not even possible for us to verify that a user on PlayStrategy is the same as a given user on Lichess.

We are a small team, and moderation may be slower than what people might be used to on Lichess, but we do review the moderation reports that we receive. If you or any other user feels that there has been some behaviour by another user that is in breach of our terms of service (playstrategy.org/terms-of-service) then we encourage you to report these incidents via the available tools.

We hope you can continue to enjoy PlayStrategy in spite of this incident and that the platform continues to grow with your support.

BOO! lichess lied to the world that I cheated in horde on their platform.

I got banned on two accounts and they told me both accounts had cheated games in it.

I made a third account BUT...this time I recorded my games because I expected to get banned a third time. They banned me. I appealed by submitting the video evidence (screenshare + webcam) and they denied it! Then THEY TOLD ME I WAS PERMABANNED AHAHAHAH They did not even watch it either, clearly, because their reponse was too fast! They have a political brigade against me!

FWIW I have other means to verify that lichess has a corrupt political brigade against me, but it is too dangerous to say in case the lichess "politicians" see this because they are not aware of what I did to prove to myself these things and I want it to stay that way.

Please, do not associate with the lichess mafia...

Persons who are banned on lichess should not be banned here, for two reasons:

1. lichess is corrupt and bans people or protects people for political reasons

(I guess I am not allowed to say any names on here, but this statement is something on which field I will die on because I saw it with my very own eyes and I know for sure that I am not a victim of false memory or programming...)

2. too laborious to check which members on lichess are banned, let alone verifying that they are the same person...
