PlayStrategy BOTs

It would be great to have some high level BOTs and put them sometimes in the Arenas instead of BOT PST-Greedy-Tom.

1. For what games? Tom can play all games, while Fairy Stockfish doesn't have support or aren't implemented currently for some games.

2. What level, for example, of Fairy Stockfish? If you put level 6 it might be hard for beginners, if you put it at level 2 it would be too easy for advanced players. Maybe golden spot level 3-4? Tom in most games is easy to win against, but the average player can't beat him at Frisian or Togyzqumalaq. I'd rather have bot be not too hard in most games, because if it's too hard, new players would play and more likely quit.

Doing patchwork on Tom might be good idea, like not always promoting to queen in antichess or not doing the almost exact same lines in Crazyhouse/Monster/etc.

I am in favor for having a more diverse set of bots to play in arenas. Other than Tom and Fairy, I don't know of any other suitable ones that have wider set of games and would be worth to implement.

I am thinking of developing my own bot at some point.
Maybe to do all varients stockfish canish do.

Could a better bot be introduced to go and replace current bot at tournaments? There are players trying the game from time to time, but current bot plays almost randomly so games with bot are not at all educational. Additionally bot doesn't accept selecting dead stones which is really integral part of game.

There are plenty of bots on online-go.com, perhaps they could be copied? I think Amaranthus or amybot-begginer level would be great. Amaranthus is still pretty bad. amybot-begginer is a bit better because it can play in different areas of board, while Amaranthus usually starts a fight and never let's go. But I'm not sure if amybot-begginer wouldn't be too hard for beginners, like bot in lines of action is (it often wins tournaments).

@Chaosu, i'm not a PlayStrategy developer, but there're many variants, not only go and LOA. Of course, it can be added these two variants, chess and draughts, and other variants later. But only for one variant if it's got open source, the bot developer (or his helper(s) (or slave(s) :))) have to find it and else he has to find another engine or ask for the source

Sorry for my english :)
