Something for a tick in the profile.

Hello, I see some kind of check mark in many people's profile. What is it, or what does it mean?

@Vladimir Do you mean the check mark at the top right of these profiles (amongst others):
@PlayStrategy
@PS-Greedy-Two-Move
@PST-Rando

If so, it denotes a 'Verified Account' which means that the account is who it says it is - it is run by who you'd expect, and it is not a random person who has just claimed that username. Think of it like the Twitter blue tick (before Elon Musk took over)

@Eror404 Currently only accounts that are owned and maintained by PlayStrategy have it - to show these are officially affiliated.

@Vladimir the tick means the user is a PlayStrategy user.

There is not anything you can do to get one for yourself.

And this means that it is managed by the site itself, I am also a PlayStrategy user, please explain in more detail

Yes, these accounts with the ticks are managed by the site. Your account is not managed by the site and so it doesn't have a tick.
