On the tournament calendar page (playstrategy.org/tournament/calendar), upcoming tournaments are nicely laid out in a Gantt-style. I would have a suggestion to improve usability - a "multiple-join mode".

This could be implemented with a button/toggle to switch "join mode" on and off, perhaps next to the H1 title "Tournament calendar".

How it would work:
- with "join mode off", the current behaviour would apply, that is, navigating to the tournament page.
- with "join mode on", clicking on the tournament tile, instead of navigating to the tournament page, the currently logged-on player would be enrolled in that tournament. Clicking on the same tile again would withdraw from the same tournament.

It might be useful to add an additional colour - to show at a glance the tournaments that one has joined.

Hi @ronin3b this is an interesting idea. However, allowing a user to easily be able to register for multiple tournaments isn't particularly helpful. Ultimately we want users to play in lots of tournaments, not just be registered for them. To play in a tournament you need to be online at the time of the tournament and so having to click a 'Join' button at this time is fine. There isn't much value in having users registered for lots of tournaments and then not showing up to play in them.
