Yonkoma

Hi, I'd like to offer PlayStrategy a new game and do the implementation myself.

The game is Yonkoma, designed this month. Two players, two checkers each, on a 10x10 or 12x12 board. Checkers move like bishops and never capture. A move must bring the moved checker closer to the two enemy checkers, measured in king steps, or keep that distance and move the checker away from its partner. Whoever completes a crosscut loses. There are no draws and no dead positions, games run about 30 to 45 plies, and it has no mirroring strategy. Rules: www.marksteeregames.com/Yonkoma_rules.pdf. You can play it against the computer here: www.marksteeregames.com/Yonkoma_play.html.

I've read the four repositories (strategygames, lila, chessground, stratops) and how Entropy was added, so I know this is a new game logic, not a variant, and a fair amount of code. I would do the work with AI assistance (Claude), follow your conventions, and submit it as pull requests in the right order, with tests. I only need to know that you want the game, and if you have a ticket or any design docs that a new game should follow, I'd be glad to have them.

Hi Mark, thanks for getting in touch. Yonkoma sounds like a game that would fit nicely on PlayStrategy. We would be more than happy to accept pull requests for the games implementation and work with you to add this game to the site. I'll follow up in an email with more details.
