Oruros League: June Backgammon Tournament!

That is great.

But this is a tournament that has a different format that consist in a round robin match per week.

The players that are paired have to schedule a time for the matches and meet the time they agreed.

Let me know if you want to still join, that would be great.

Hello everyone!

I am happy to announce that eight (8) players have registered to play the first Stage of the Oruros League (in order of registration)

I want to remind you, as I wrote in the first post, that we will play a MATCH PER WEEK.

Every Monday I will be posting the pairings of the week. Then, you will have to schedule a suitable time with your opponent and post in the forum to be sure everything is clear.

Every match will consist of FIVE (5) Backgammon Games with the time control: 2d/10 which means:

Time Control: Simple delay
Minutes Per Side: 2
Increment in seconds: 10

Every match will give 1 point for the winner.

If, at the end of the tournament, 2 or more players finished with the same score, then, the Tie-Break will be:

1. Single Games Won
2. Direct Result
3. Play a new match out of 3 games with the same time Control (2d/10)

To create the pairings for the tournament I use the ChessBase tournament creator, writing the names in the order of registration (leaving myself last).

As I mentioned before, I will post every Monday the pairing of the week, but here you can find the entire tournament order of play:
