Weekly Challenge 101: Star Stuck

Weekly Challenge 101: Star Stuck

Win a game of Go 9x9 vs @PS-Greedy-Two-Move where you can only place your stones outside the constrictions of the star points.

Additional Clarification:
- You may not place a stone on any of the following co-ordinates: d4, d5, d6, e4, e5, e6, f4, f5, f6

Adjudication Criteria:
1. Biggest Score Difference (at the end of the game)
2. Earliest Entry

Question: are these coordinates possibly incorrect?
d4, d5, d6, e4, e5, e6, f4, f5, f6

should it rather be: c3 c5 c7 e3 e5 e7 g3 g5 g7?
(the "9x9 star points")

(Apologies for any misunderstanding!)

Edit: maybe I get it now, no center (d4, d5, d6, e4, e5, e6, f4, f5, f6) and no star points (the coordinates I posted above). Is that it?

I can see how its slightly confusing, but its correct as stated:
you may not place a stone on any of the following co-ordinates: d4, d5, d6, e4, e5, e6, f4, f5, f6
i.e. the middle 3x3 grid

Are we setting komi to zero also?

There’s no real way to do better since the bot will always play “dead” stones in the centre 3x3, and won’t agree they’re dead, and so will gain something like 8-9 points right?

Yes Komi and Handicap should be left as their defaults. Meaning @woll has achieved the best score for this challenge.
If people are wanting to take the challenge further, have a go at the same idea on a 13x13 board (so no placing on the middle 25 co-ordinates (e5-i9).

Q; if a center shape is dead ("bulky 5") but I cannot play in the center so... I should leave it as alive? 😢
