I understand that considering that sometimes there are not enough players in the Shields, the Arena system seems to be very good.

Despite this, I would recommend considering trying some of the Shields of 2024 with a Swiss System and for example if a player does not participate in all the Shield losing a lot by forfeit (allowing loads of Byes) maybe could get a warning or something like that.

Personally, i think arena is better as it allowed people to join at every time they want.
Swiss was already used about one year ago and it wasn't really a success...

Thanks for the thoughts, we plan to keep the shields as arenas for now. We are planning on improving the situation of no-shows within Swiss and hopefully will address this early 2024.
