Hello everybody,

Thank you for joining my tournament. I know it is small, but I have been inactive with horde chess in part due to unfair persecution on lichess (and somewhat fair persecution on chess(dot)com). This has meant a lot to me so thank you again.

It is time for me to start off Round 1! You have a week to play your match.

Match #1: @ibluffuout vs @EchidnaOfGreed (a lichess name). (Play MULTIPLE games of 2+2 until somebody wins in a BEST OF 8).
Match #2: @horde_supervisor vs @puolimetalli. (Play MULTIPLE games of 2+2 until somebody wins in a BEST OF 8).

Please post your agreed-upon time in the Forum (or notify me so that I can do it for you). After you finish your match, please post something in this forum thread that has the result and a link to the first game!

Additionally, please note that some player sit out until Round 2. That is because the format of this tournament is Double Elimination. These players are:

Hello everybody,

Sorry for the delay. On 21 October, I was going to kickstart round 2. But it is already 23 October. I was having heart problems. On 22 October, I went to the emergency room. Overall, I have been resting 12-15 hours a day, and I have been unusually tired during waking hours. I should be fine now, so you don't need to worry about me. I am still tired and recovering, but I am doing a lot better.

Let us kickstart Round 2! Try to finish your games by 30 October!

Match #1: @thathordematvei vs @ibluffuout. (Play MULTIPLE games of 2+2 until somebody wins in a BEST OF 8).
Match #2: @Denis_Chuev (a lichess name) vs @maretate (a lichess name). (Play MULTIPLE games of 2+2 until somebody wins in a BEST OF 8).
Match #3: @rune vs @horde_supervisor. (Play MULTIPLE games of 2+2 until somebody wins in a BEST OF 8).
Match #4: @KiwiCoach already defeated @Filippov_Anton (a lichess name) 3-0

I have no matches scheduled for the loser's bracket. Technically, @Filippov_Anton and @EchidnaOfGreed can play each other as early as they want, since KiwiCoach already finished his round early.
